Supported Independent Living (SIL) provides eligible NDIS participants with the opportunity to live as independently as possible while receiving daily support services and care.
AlliedHealth Ability Services equips participants to make informed choices about their life, support services and care.
We will provide participants with the opportunity to live independently, either in a shared or group home, or as a single resident in their own home.
No matter the living arrangement, we will provide SIL services that are personalised and tailored to your individual needs, goals and wishes.
Supported Disability Accommodation (SDA) is when a provider with an SDA-approved property leases it to a participant who has SDA funding in their NDIS Plan. The SDA provider will collect rent and maintain the property just like an ordinary landlord. SDA funding is usually given to participants with high-level needs.
A SIL provider, on the other hand, supports participants to live as independently as possible, whether in a group home or as a single occupier in their own home, while receiving daily support services and care.
